米开朗基罗、莱昂纳多、多纳泰罗.....这些耳熟能详的名字,令人想起文艺复兴时期的意大利艺术家,又或者会联想起忍者神龟中角色的名字。这正是上海前滩太古里中央公园草坪上七只“意大利兔子”的名字带着其创作者瑞士艺术家克劳蒂亚·孔德(ClaudiaComte)对当代艺术历史的一个戏虐的玩笑,VANTALY为孔德在中国落地了首个永久性公共艺术作品。

自然的视觉语言
孔德的作品多以取自家乡格朗西的可持续发展森林的木材为起点以其标志性工具电锯来创作的木雕保留了独特的痕迹与曲线，电锯并非以精准但以便利与力量见称,这个创作方式将她的作品与她对森林生态学和生物多样性的兴趣连繫起来,并透过玩味、联系与触感呈现出来。
她的作品反映出她对探索物质记忆的兴趣，以及她对人手与不同科技互动的细腻观察,更透过融合建筑、设计、大自然和流行文化的主题和图案以转化空间。
这些雕塑看似是随意地散布在展示场地上,但其实每一个雕塑都是以细致的角度摆放,营造出微妙又丰富多变的观赏体验。藉着邀请抽象语言并探究艺术品如何转化空间，把一个静态的地方变成一个动态的环境。
CLAUDIA COMTE
克劳蒂亚·孔德
TUTUMAT家,曾就读洛桑州立艺术学院(2004-2007),随后在瑞士洛桑视觉艺术高级学院获得视觉艺术教育学文学硕士学位(2008-2010)。
孔德的多媒介艺术作品常以雕塑或装置糅合壁画,营造出独特的环境氛围,让作品之间产生井然有序但又充满玩味的视觉节奏。她的作品反映出她对探索物质记忆的兴趣,以及她对人手与不同科技互动的细腻观察。近年,她醉心于探究不同生命体之间的关系。
物质不但有记忆,它们还拥有对周遭环境的认知,大理石蕴含着海洋的流动多变是海洋生物的结晶,将大理石视为坚硬的材料其实并不准确,因为它的核心是液态的。木材“记得”地球与森林的气候与温度,这包含着千千万万种共生过程,造就空气、能量、呼吸、生长、食物和栖息之地。克劳蒂亚·孔德的作品为我们打开一扇窗,在不同的形态和物件上探视自然环境、氧气,以及地球的状态如何塑造和改变各种物质。
Claudia Comte (born 1983 in Grancy, Switzerland) is an artist based in the countrysideoutside of Basel, Switzerland. She studied at the Ecole Cantonale d'Art de LausanneECAL (2004-2007) followed by a Masters of Art in Science of Education at Haute EcolePédagogique, Visual Arts, Lausanne, Switzerland (2008-2010).
Comte works between media, often combining sculptures or installation with walpaintings to create environments where works relate to each other with a visual rhythmthat is both methodical and playful. Her work is defned by her interest in the memoryof materials and by a careful observation of how the hand relates to different technologiesIn the last years, she has been invested in understanding the relationships between differentforms of life. Materials do not only have a memory, but they also possess a knowledgeabout the environments they belong to. Marble entails the ocean, and life under wateris crystallized and it would be inaccurate to see this material as hard, since it is liquid atits core. Wood "remembers" the climate conditions of the planet and the forest thatembodies the thousands of symbiotic processes that allow air, energy, breathinggrowing, food, shelter. Claudia Comte's work opens our view to environment, oxygenthe way the conditions ofour planet modify the materials -in every pattern and object
