ZHENG Da (b.1979, China) is a media artist, as well as the founder of “Low Tech Art Lab”. He is also an
associate professor of Academic of Fine Arts in Central China Normal University. And the academic scholar of
The University of British Columbia (UBC), Korea 2012 CPI Visiting Artist. The artist focuses on inter-media
interactive art. His art works reflected by the exploration and practice at the crossing of reality and virtual world, which includes game art, interactive installation, audio sculpture, theater media, etc. He established the “Low Tech Art Lab” that focuses on contemporary media cultures and interdisciplinary integration, and this lab do a series art experiment of digital virtual environments. His works have been shown at well-known art museums and institutions, including CAFA Art Museum (Beijing), K11 Art Museum (Shanghai), Hubei Museum of Art (Wuhan), Art Museum of Nanjing University of the Art (Nanjing), Today Art Museum (Beijing) and many others. Zheng Da has also won art prizes such as “ 2018 The Third Session: Wang Shikuo Award”(China) and “The 2017 Lumen Prize”(UK).
